Terms and Conditions for "A Shilling for Change" Fundraiser

1. Entry and Participation

Participation in the fundraising campaign is free of charge.
Fundraisers can participate either as individuals or as teams consisting of at least 5 members.
Campaign Dates: The fundraising campaign will run from September 1st, 2024, to December 20th, 2024. All funds must be raised and submitted within this period to be eligible for prizes.

2. Fundraising Goals

Individual Fundraisers: To be eligible for the prize, each individual fundraiser must raise a minimum of Ksh. 500,001.

Team Fundraisers: Teams must raise a minimum of Ksh. 500,001 multiplied by the number of team members. Each member of the team must individually raise at least Ksh. 500,000 for the team to be eligible for the prize.

For example:

A 5-member team must collectively raise at least Ksh. 2,500,000.
A 7-member team must collectively raise at least Ksh. 3,500,000.

The campaign with the highest amount raised above these minimum goals will be considered the winner.

3. Prizes

The top individual fundraiser will be awarded their choice of a Samsung Fold 6 or an iPhone 15 Pro.
Each member of the top team fundraiser will also be awarded a choice between a Samsung Fold 6 or an iPhone 15 Pro.

4. Challenges and Additional Participation

All fundraisers are eligible to participate in weekly and surprise challenges, although participation is optional.

5. Funds Collection

All funds raised must be submitted through the following channels:

Website: Contributions can be made directly on our official fundraising page.
Bank Deposit: Details for bank deposits will be provided on the fundraising page.
Mpesa Paybill – 4103585: When using Mpesa Paybill, please use your name as it appears on your fundraiser or your team’s name to ensure proper allocation of the funds to your campaign.

6. Legal and Ethical Compliance

All participants are required to adhere to local laws and regulations during the fundraising process.
Any actions that could potentially harm the reputation of the campaign or the foundation will result in disqualification.

7. General Provisions

The organization reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time to ensure the integrity and fairness of the campaign.
Any disputes or issues arising from the campaign will be resolved at the sole discretion of the organizing committee.
